The Essential First Step Before Applying a Nano Coating

Thorough surface preparation is crucial when applying a nano coating.

Dirt, grease, limescale, mineral deposits and cleaning-product residue can all interfere with direct contact between the nano coating and the glass surface.

NC Nano Glass Cleaner is therefore designed to provide the thorough clean required before applying NC Nano Coating for Glass.

Once the glass has been thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and completely dried, it provides the ideal surface for application of the nano coating.

Get the Best Results in 6 Simple Steps

Before starting, please take the following practical information into account.

Do not mix NC Nano Glass Cleaner with other cleaning products or chemicals.

Lower temperatures may slow down the cleaning action. Allow additional contact time where necessary.

Always test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area first to check compatibility and the cleaning result.

Step 1 – Apply the Glass Cleaner

Apply NC Nano Glass Cleaner evenly to the glass surface using the supplied trigger sprayer.

Ensure the contaminated area is adequately covered.

Step 2 – Allow Approximately 5 Minutes to Work

Allow the cleaner to work for approximately 5 minutes.

Do not allow the product to dry completely on the glass.

Step 3 – Agitate Where Necessary

For stubborn contamination, gently work the cleaner over the surface using a clean non-abrasive pad, soft brush, microfibre sponge or microfibre cloth.

Avoid abrasive pads or tools that could scratch the glass or surrounding surfaces.

Step 4 – Check the Cleaning Action

During the cleaning process, a white or grey haze may become visible on the treated surface.

Where this occurs, continue with the rinsing procedure rather than allowing the residue to dry onto the glass.

Step 5 – Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse the treated surface thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

Make sure all loosened contamination and cleaning-product residue is completely removed.

After rinsing, dry the glass thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth where required.

If the surface is being prepared for NC Nano Coating for Glass, make sure the glass is completely clean, dry and residue-free before applying the coating.

Step 6 – Repeat if Necessary

For particularly stubborn limescale or heavily contaminated glass, repeat the treatment where necessary.

Several controlled treatments are preferable to excessive abrasive cleaning.

After Cleaning: Protect the Glass

Once the glass has been thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and completely dried, it can be treated with NC Nano Coating for Glass.

The combination of deep cleaning followed by nano protection helps create an easy-to-clean, water- and dirt-repellent glass surface and makes future maintenance considerably easier.
