More Information About NC Nano Coating for Glass

Our NC Nano Coating for Glass provides long-lasting protection for glass surfaces against water, dirt and oil.

The coating forms an ultra-thin, transparent and water-repellent layer on the glass, creating an effective easy-to-clean effect. Water forms droplets and runs off the treated surface more easily, while dirt and mineral deposits have greater difficulty adhering to the glass.

The treated surface benefits from excellent hydrophobic and oleophobic properties, helping reduce the amount of cleaning required and making stubborn dirt and limescale deposits easier to remove.

Because the coating dries completely transparent and virtually invisible, it preserves the clarity and appearance of the glass.

Nano Protection for Windows and Automotive Glass

When applying the coating to a vehicle windscreen, it is particularly important to follow the application instructions carefully and polish the coating completely clear. Do not leave streaks, haze or excess product that could interfere with the driver's view.

Preparation Is Essential

For the best possible performance, the glass must be completely clean before applying NC Nano Coating for Glass.

We recommend preparing the surface with our NC Nano Glass Cleaner.

This specialist glass cleaner provides a thorough deep clean and helps remove stubborn limescale, mineral deposits and contamination that could otherwise affect the performance and bonding of the nano coating.

After cleaning, rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water where appropriate and dry it completely. The glass should be clean, dry and streak-free before the coating is applied.

Get the Best Results in 3 Simple Steps

Before starting, please take the following practical information into account.

Do not mix NC Nano Coating for Glass with other products and do not dilute it.

Lower temperatures may slow down the application and curing process, so allow additional time when working in cooler conditions.

Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area first to check compatibility and the final appearance.

For the best results, work on a completely clean, dry and streak-free surface.

Step 1 – Thoroughly Clean the Glass

Clean the surface thoroughly using NC Nano Glass Cleaner.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water where appropriate and dry the surface completely.

Make sure all dirt, grease, cleaning-product residues, limescale and other deposits have been removed. The cleaner and more thoroughly prepared the surface is, the better the nano coating can perform.

Step 2 – Work in Small Sections

Mentally divide the surface into manageable sections of approximately A4 size.

Complete one section at a time before moving on to the next.

This makes it easier to apply and polish the coating evenly without using too much product.

Step 3 – Apply and Polish the Nano Coating

Apply a small amount of NC Nano Coating for Glass to a clean, lint-free microfibre cloth.

Spread the coating evenly across the first section in overlapping passes. Only a small amount of product is required – contact between the coating and the entire glass surface is sufficient.

The coating reacts with the surface immediately.

Using the clean reverse side of the microfibre cloth, or a second clean microfibre cloth, polish the treated area using circular motions until the coating is evenly distributed, completely clear and no longer visible.

There is no need to polish aggressively or for an extended period. The important point is to create a thin, even application without leaving excess coating, streaks or visible residue.

Continue section by section until the entire surface has been treated.

Allow the coating to cure before exposing the glass to water.
