Our NC Nano Coating for Fabric, Leather & Suede is designed to protect a wide range of fabrics, leather and suede against water, dirt and oil.

The powerful protective treatment gives coated fibres and surfaces excellent hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. By creating a low surface energy, the coating helps significantly reduce water absorption, staining and dirt adhesion.

Cleaning Before Application

Thoroughly cleaning the material before applying the coating is essential for achieving the best possible result.

We recommend using our NC Nano Fabric Cleaner first. This specialist cleaner provides a deeper clean than many conventional surface cleaners and prepares the fibres and material for application of NC Nano Coating for Fabric, Leather & Suede.

Once cleaned, allow the material to dry completely before applying the coating.

Get the Best Results in 4 Simple Steps

Before starting, please take the following practical information into account.

Do not mix NC Nano Coating for Fabric, Leather & Suede with other products. The product is supplied ready to use and should not normally be diluted.

Lower temperatures can slow down drying and the coating process, so allow additional time when applying the product in cooler conditions.

Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area first to check compatibility, colour and appearance before treating the entire item.

Step 1 – Clean the Material Thoroughly

The first step in protecting fabric, leather or suede is to make sure the material is thoroughly clean.

Clean the material first using our NC Nano Fabric Cleaner. This specialist nano cleaner penetrates more deeply than many conventional surface cleaners and helps remove dirt from the material and fibres.

Our nano coatings deliver the best results when used on a properly cleaned surface.

After cleaning, allow the material to dry thoroughly. This will normally take at least 2–3 hours, depending on the material and environmental conditions.

Step 2 – Apply the Coating

Check that the fabric, leather or suede is completely dry and free from dirt and dust.

Remove the bottle cap and securely attach the supplied trigger sprayer.

Spray NC Nano Coating for Fabric, Leather & Suede evenly over the material.

For spray application, use a clean application sponge or soft brush to distribute the product evenly and gently work it into the fibres where appropriate.

The product can also be applied by immersion. To do this, pour the required quantity into a suitable clean container large enough for the item being treated.

Step 3 – Apply an Even, Saturating Coat

Apply NC Nano Coating for Fabric, Leather & Suede in one even, saturating coat.

Highly absorbent materials may require a second application. Where necessary, apply the second treatment within 30 minutes of the first coat.

Avoid applying excessive product or allowing it to pool on the surface.

Step 4 – Allow to Dry

Allow the treated material to dry completely in the air.

Leave the coating for 24 hours before using the treated item.

Once fully dry, test the water-repellent effect on a small area using a few drops of clean water. The water should bead on the treated surface rather than being readily absorbed.
